Students at Compton Elementary enjoyed an inspiring morning in their classrooms while meeting a number of community leaders and local celebrities who shared their success stories and read stories of hope all grade levels. Guests such as the mayor and city council, area superintendents, district leaders, sports stars, doctors, artists, and more, gave generously of their time and talents to offer hope for the future to our students. Principal Liz Murphy offered a special gift for each guest speaker and teachers shared class photos with them upon departure. A wonderful time was had by all.
