Students at Compton Elementary enjoyed an inspiring morning in their classrooms while meeting a number of community leaders and local celebrities who shared their success stories and read books with messages of hope. Guests such as the mayor, area superintendents, district leaders, local sports stars, doctors, artists, and more, gave generously of their time and talents to offer hope for the future to our students. Guests enjoyed a special reception in their honor and were given class photos to say thank you for being a part of this special day. The day culminated with students writing about their own hopes for the future and placing them in a hope chest in our school lobby.
