Welcome to the Parent Involvement Blog!

We are so excited to work with all our wonderful parents this year. Our theme is year is Building Hopes and Dreams.  We look forward to the school year full of hope and many new discoveries as dreams come true! 

The Parent Resource Center is open each day during the school day.  We have many parenting resources as well as a computer for parents to use. 

Below are the Compton Policies for Title I.  These were given to every parent at Open House.

Jackie Korwek offers special classes for HIspanic parents once a month on Tuesdays in the Media Center from 7:30 AM until 9 AM. The next classes will be held on Dec. 14, Jan. 11, and Feb. 8. On Tuesday, Mar. 1, Jackie will offer a special class for CRCT. For more information, email Jackie.Korwek@cobbk12.org.

We Love Our Grandparents!

Our Grandparents' Breakfast was a big success! We welcomed over a hundred special grandparents to have breakfast with their grandchildren who are students at Compton.  The photostream below shows some of the highlights of the big event.
