Emily Justice
My Name is Emily Justice. I have a Bachelors of Science in Elementary and Early Childhood Education from Kennesaw State University. This is my first year teaching here at Compton, but I was the media paraprofessional for 4 years prior to teaching. I am currently working on my Masters of Education in School Library Media at the University of West Georgia. My Husband and I live in Powder Springs, and he also works for Cobb County Schools. Misty Duren
My name is Misty Duren. I taught second grade before coming up to third and have been teaching 3rd grade for five years. Each year I grow to love it even more!
I have lived in Georgia all my life and grew-up in Cherokee County. I currently live in Hiram with my husband, 3 step-children; Lexie, Jacob, Jackson, and new baby, Caleb.
I love spending time with my family. We are constantly on the go, riding bikes, soccer, spending time with family, or just outside playing. We also spend a lot of time at our church, either attending services and classes or serving.
Stephanie Schwan
Hello! This is my fifth year of teaching, all of which have been at Compton. I received my Bachelor's degree from Kennesaw State University. My teaching experience includes leading the Technology Lab, two years of 2nd grade, and 1 year of Kindergarten. I recently earned my Master's Degree in Elementary Reading and Mathematics. I live in Kennesaw with my husband and our 9 month old daughter, Abigail. We are anxiously awaiting the arrivial of our second child in April.
