Dear Parents and Students,
Thank you all so much for all of your thoughts and support when I was on maternity leave. I am so glad to be back and have so much FUN learning planned!
I would like to welcome Amy Hall to our Compton ALP family. Mrs. Hall will be sharing the Target ALP position with me. She will have the primary grades, 1st, 2nd and 3rd until the end of the year. Most likely we will then need to split up the 2/3rd grade class to be sure that we keep our student/teacher ratio in compliance with the State guide lines.
I will continue to teach Talent Development to 2nd, 3rd and 4/5th grade WINGS as well as Target 4/5th grade class until the end of the year when we will most likely have to split he classes up again to remain with in the student /teacher ratio.
Some exciting things happening:
1.Bridge Breaking ceremony December 11th- please join us!!!!
2. We're Learning LATIN and GREEK!!!!
3. Optional Bridge Home Work Project! See your students Target Binder for the details.
I have missed you all and I am so glad to be back!!!
Mrs. Conn
