We are currently accepting applications for our CNN news team. Any 5th grader interested in joining should come by the media center to get an application. All completed applications are due by Monday, August 30. Tryouts will take place on Wednesday, Sept. 1 at 1:50pm in the News Room.

Compton News Crew

We have a wonderful group of students serving as anchors on our morning news at Compton. Anchors must be here by 7:30 to rehearse and set up for each day's broadcast. Two anchors work as a team each week and report school events, lunch menus, weather, and announcements. Pictured below are our wonderful news anchors for 2009-2010.
