Rochelle Akin
My name is Rochell Akin. I was born and raised in Powder Springs, GA. I attended Compton as a young girl. I went to Kennesaw State University for my Bachelor’s degree and completed my Master’s degree through Walden University. I have been teaching for 9 years, all of which have been at Compton. I enjoy teaching very much! I always wanted to be a teacher. I have taught several grade levels and have enjoyed each one. This is my second year teaching 2nd grade. I feel like I learn something new about teaching every day! I love each of my students and feel right at home at Compton.
Hello! I was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana. I am married and have a son. I hold a Bachelor’s Degree Elementary Education and Speech and Hearing Therapy. I have a Master’s Degree in Education specializing in Classroom Technology.
